What is the shelf life of Cahaya products and how do you store them?
For optimal freshness we recommend storing all products in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight and we recommend using the products within 12 months of purchasing them.
Is Cahaya a fairtrade company?
According to Fair Trade Certified, the term 'Fair Trade' means, in summary, setting high standards in safe labour practices, providing fair wages to workers, and giving back to developing communities.
Whilst we are not Fair Trade-certified, we partner with suppliers who align with our ethos of sustainable practices and ethical sourcing.
It's also important to Cahaya that we remain 100% natural use certified-organic ingredients and remain vegan when possible. We are are Leaping Bunny certified.
Ingredient information
What does it mean when your product is called natural?
A natural product refers to ingredients that have been sourced from nature. Cahaya skincare products are made from all natural products.
What does it mean when your product is called organic?
Organic ingredients comply with certain standards for organic farming, for instance no pesticides or chemical herbicides may be used on crops.
To the extent possible we have used organic ingredients. But certain ingredients, for example Shea butter, is derived from the nut of the Vitellaria tree (Vitellaria Paradoxa), which is similar to an oak and usually grows wild.
For this reason, Shea butter is not certified as organic, however it is never sprayed with any chemicals or pesticides or herbicides or anything synthetic.

Do not contain any nut oils.
Is there any other allergy information I should take into account?
No. Our products are free from gluten, soy, plastics, synthetics, silicone, Sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLS), poly ethylene glycols (PEG) and parabens.
Our products do contain naturally derived phenoxyethanol, which serves as a stabiliser and an antibacterial agent, in very low concentrations.
Pregnant ladies and nursing mothers should consult a professional, prior to using our products.
Do your products contain preservatives?
At Cahaya, we are committed to using only truly natural, non-toxic ingredients and avoiding synthetic preservatives.That said our formulations do feature natural preservatives.
Payment Information
Do you offer discount codes?
From time to time we will offer discount codes for the purchase of Cahaya products. Codes are one-use only, and cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. They will also not become retrospectively valid, so you may not apply them to your previous purchases.
Can you tell us what taxes are applicable?
We are headquartered in the United Kingdom and therefore a value added tax becomes automatically applicable to all your purchases. These may change without notice depending on regulations. Tax is calculated according to our physical presence

Klarna is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, on orders over £40. Free standard shipping is valid in the UK on orders over £40, before tax and after discounts are applied. All prices are in GBP. Payment for international orders will be processed at the current exchange rate and will appear so on your bank statement.
Fulfilment Process
All items ordered and paid for will ship within 3 business days unless otherwise noted in the product description. Orders may take up to 10 business days to arrive for standard shipping methods.International orders may take 7-14 business days to arrive; payment of duties and taxes may be required.We are unable to ship to forwarding addresses. If an order is placed with a forwarding shipping address, the order may be cancelled automatically by our system. Our orders are currently shipped from our fulfilment centre in England.
Shipping Methods
We currently only ship through Royal Mail postal services, which may then become USPS when the products come to the USA.All products will be sent out through Royal Mail second class.

In order to provide our international customers, the best shipping experience possible during the COVID-19 pandemic, we currently only offer DHL international shipping.
Many shipping providers are experiencing considerable strain as international commercial passenger flights they would typically rely on to transport packages are significantly reduced. At this time, we are only able to offer shipping options like DHL that have been least affected by such barriers.
International customers may notice that shipping costs for orders placed are higher based on currently available options. Once shipping systems become less impacted, we hope to offer more competitive rates once again. In the meantime, we truly apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
About Cahaya
Is Cahaya cruelty free?
Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free. We do not test on animals at any point within our supply chain or pay for another company to conduct testing. Cahaya does not sell or do business in countries that have animal testing policies.
Is Cahaya vegan?
All ingredients used in Cahay products are 100% vegan, with one exception, our Gorgeous glow day cream, where we have used hydrolysed silk, in our current batch.
Delivery Issues
Incorrect Items received?
We are so sorry to hear that you received an incorrect item in your order. Please reach out to us at info@cahayaglow.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with a photo of the incorrect product and our support team will be happy to resolve this for you.
Damaged goods received?

Missing Packages
Oh dear! We're sorry to hear of this. If your order is marked as delivered but you have yet to receive it, please wait 3 business days before reaching out or filing a claim. We also recommend checking with your building management, concierge, mailroom, or neighbours to see if they received the package for you.
